Dominique spent nine years covering the southeast Oakland County (Michigan) business community as a freelance reporter for a string of local weekly newspapers and a decade writing and editing stories for local Chamber of Commerce publications. Her feature stories on business and regional travel topics have also appeared in Hour Detroit Magazine, Entrepreneur's Start Ups, The Daily (Royal Oak, MI) Tribune, The Long Trip Home, The Urbane Life and Discovering Ohio.

Tim is a retired automotive engineer who is also part of the Midwest Guest blogging team. He enjoys travel, landscape and documentary photography and currently serves as President of the Motor City Camera Club. Tim recently returned to motorcycling after a long layoff from riding, which is something he'll be sharing with Midwest Guest readers through a series of posts called Back in the Saddle and other stories.
